AUGUST

8/6/2008 - OPEN XC schooling day at Flying Cross - near Louisville, KY ($10 for SJ; $35 for XC)

8/9/2008 - Boyd County OPEN Show - Classes are free 2008BoydCo4H This show bill shows Aug 16 but it IS Aug 9th - dressage, jumping and patterns (western or english) will begin at 5pm - other classes will begin at 6pm. No fees for classes.
8/16/2008 - Boyd County 4H hosting a GAMES competition - 430-8pm Boyd County Fair Grounds Boyd Co Team Games Showbill We will have different sessions for the games, like regional rally. Each game session will be 50 minutes with a 10-minute break to clear/reset the ring before the next teams start up. Teams can sign up for individual games at $5/game, or ride all games for $20/team. Fair admission is usually $7/person, which includes unlimited fair rides.

He is the only eventer presenting this year. Julie Goodnight is a dressage instructor and has a clinic at 230. The trade fair goes on all day and is one of the best I have ever been to - good deals can be found too!
Our very own DCPC members Rebekah and Caleb Green have been chosen to be riders in clinics to be given during Equine Affaire. If you attend on Thursday, Sat or Sunday, be sure to visit during their clinics!
