DCPC rating events are scheduled at least twice a year in the spring and in the fall. However, depending on the readiness of the members of the club, an additional rating event many also be held in either the spring or fall. In years past, we have held a separate D only rating event followed by a C only rating event only weeks apart. If qualified, the same member may move up from D2 to C1 in these 2 rating events. For new members, an initial rating will be done no earlier than 30 days after joining pony club. At your initial rating, you may attempt to pass all of the D level ratings, D1 thru D3. You must meet the standards for each rating in order to proceed to the next.
After an initial rating, you may only attempt to move up one level at a time. All D1 thru C2 ratings are coordinated thru your individual pony club. C3 ratings and up are conducted by USPC National.
